Camp EDE 5

I am on ma bed right now in my own very home in Lekki. I am still trying to imagine all the space I have to myself after being enclosed to a small environment for 3weeks in EDE.

I actually thought it will be 2mao I will write this concluding part camp EDE, but procrastination is not the way forward. I don't want to leave any detail from my readers. Please bear with me it is going to be a long ride, I may decide to divide it into 2, lets just see how it goes.

I can write a book containing few pages about my experience in camp EDE, it has been 3weeks of experience that can never be erased from my memories God sparing my life. Three weeks which are on the sands of time, a story lil Ehi and my daughter must hear...about how I met their mother(when corper marry corper dem go born better) *jokes*

It all ended in grand style. 0230hours (2am) I was up to go and do my normal early morning fetching of water, as usual the xtracool midnite callers were outside repeating their usual lines *u know u are wonderfully wonderful in benin accent* why the chimneys were der smoking their lungs away. Anyway after observing or rather what I will call a stroll I was bk in ma room with free water to bath from Raymond, immediately afta shower the full gear was put on, khaki with ma cap and my load was taken to the church for safety. Due to fgng to church only once I dropped ma load in catholic church thinking it was NCCF.

For goodness sakes why the punishment so early, we were made to submit our mattresses as at 4am, no other choice but to take a nap on springs. It was hell of a time, but you can trust ma room presido who I will not lie I am missin right now Brighto aka Opia had to start some comedy again. He studied contract law in his final year, he was threatened to be crippled by anoda corp member over 20naira pure water imagine he wanted a signed letter from his confra threatner to take responsibility for anything that happens to him before he goes to go and undo the reports he made to the man o war and soldiers buhh for goodness sakes u be Ekposi guy and you dey fear like this....it was lafter all morning.

Thank God for the idea to eat breakfast before the parade if not I for be casualty. It was a lovely weather no sun no rain just clouds and lovely slow music as we stood at ease waiting for the dignitaries to come. The governor impressed me today he came right on tym and delivered a short fantastic speech. The parade was on mad form but I am ☹ I could not witness it because I was part of the parade. The slow match, quick match, review order were all perfect for a drill dat was learnt under 2weeks, I was impressed.

The moment had come, posting letter, Las gidi was no where to be found, it was helter skelter zig zag random moment, crowded field. Osun corp members were everywhere but why dem dey rush they no hear say na 80% dey go educational institutions. Lagos letters came , m sure ur waiting to hear my posting, just hold on tite. Many ppl got slyd o, it wasn't funny, I wanted Schlumberger dem give me Chevron...all na God I thank Him for every every, no be small thing o. Took some pictures which you will see later, hugs,compliments and all were exchanged and I was las gidi bound...there is no place like home. I missed my laptop and the two radio stations I listen to the most. I think I have to stop here please be patient and sit back for a while.
